2/ Your Mission

As part of our engineering team, you will work closely with customers and our onboarding teams in order to ensure a clean and successful integration of customer data (e.g. HRIS or Accounting systems), authentication methods (e.g. Okta or SAML) and analyse customer requirements for technical feasibility in collaboration with the engineering team. Furthermore you create custom reports and assist in 2nd level support for technical or configuration issues.

What you'll be working on

• Analyse technical customer requirements in the areas of data integration, enterprise authentication and reporting
• Create utility scripts in Python to automate recurring tasks
• 2nd level support for technical configuration questions and issues.
• Customisation and extension of complex financial and usage reports  

 Behind the scenes

Our cross-functional engineering team is focused on business goals and solving problems in an efficient manner. Our customer onboarding and customer success teams are focused on creating a great customer experience from the first touch to go-live and beyond.

We want the teams to collaborate on new ideas and projects to find the best solutions with the role of the Integration Engineer being a fundamental link between them.

Ben is built on Python 3, Django, PostgreSQL and React. We run on AWS and follow engineering best practices, with a pragmatic approach.

3/ Your Skills and Experience

• Professional experience in a major programming language such as Python, Java, C++ or similar
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, ideally in a reporting or BI context
• Understand and appreciate the principles and practices of agile and lean ways of working, but with a pragmatic edge
• Excellent communication skills adaptable to both tech and business audiences
