1/ Our Mission
The way companies reward their people today is broken - it's a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach that hasn't evolved to meet the demands of the modern workforce. How we work is changing, but compensation - salary, bonus, equity, benefits - has been stuck in the same place for decades. Ben is changing that, starting with employee benefits. We are building an all-in-one platform for any company to personalise benefits and reward. Our mission is to make reward work for everyone.
We're super proud to be backed by some of Europe's leading VC funds including Atomico, Seedcamp, Cherry, and DN Capital (totalling $21million), and the people behind companies such as Indeed.com, Peakon, Personio, Wise, Workday, and GoCardless.
2/ Your Mission
You'll be critical in realising what a world-class brand experience should look like both for our customers and the end users who engage with our products every day. The ambition is to build a consumer-grade product and brand in an antiquated B2B space, design is at the beating heart of this vision.
We’re searching for a Brand Designer who can have a big impact. We need somebody who not only delivers stunning work but who can help define what design means in an ambitious organisation.
What you'll be working on:
You will work predominantly with the Growth marketing team to create and optimise content for marketing/sales (website & landing page assets, motion/video ads, illustrations, sales collateral, marketing content design etc.) and occasionally inside the product (splash screens, product animations, brand-defining features).
You'll end-to-end execute on all brand materials, both digital and physical. With animation and illustration being your area of expertise.
- You'll expand and refine our brand, control our asset libraries, and keep all guideline documentation and brand process updated.
- You'll measure the performance of brand visuals and messaging, and ensure learnings are proliferated across channels.
- You'll maintain high quality brand consistency, critiquing and reviewing brand implementation across the organisation.
3/ Your Experience
Previous experience working for an agency or in-house in a similar role would be great; experience in a startup environment is a plus - We're more interested in the person than year’s experience. If you think you’re a great fit we'd love to hear from you!
You have a portfolio demonstrating you are a talented multi-field designer: motion design, animation, illustration, landing page design, marketing collateral, and ad creatives.
Strong proficiency in animation and illustration.
You understand how to formulate creative ideas using a strong commercial rationale.
- You are fluent in Adobe CC (incl. After Effects) and Figma - we’re quick to adopt better tools and processes, so you’ll be more than welcome to contribute all the good practices you’ve used before.
- We know the value of good design - it is and will remain a primary differentiator in our marketplace.
- We are re-imagining an industry! - Everyone has a voice and we actively support those who want to push things forward.
- Our people are our core strength. We are a highly-motivated, kind and “quirky” bunch, boasting an outstanding company culture (employer net promotion score of 60!).
